BIOGRAPHY:
SGT Darrin Lindsay was born in Scotland and has lived in Smithfield since he was 12 years old.  He has been in law enforcement since 1992 and has been with Smithfield Police Department since 1997.  SGT Lindsay is very active in the community and is a Youth Director at his church.  He loves working with teenagers because they are so full of energy and vision.  He also has a rap song which addresses drug use.

SGT Lindsay enjoys spending time with his wife, Tracey, and two boys, Riley and Cobey.  They enjoy time spend outdoors and he especially enjoys mountain biking.
