Clarence "Clay" Seamster

BIOGRAPHY:
Officer Seamster has ten years of cumulative experience in the
United States Marine Corps, attaining the non-commissioned
officer rank of sergeant. He also has two years as a
corrections deputy with the Norfolk Sheriff's Office, working in
the city jail for the City of Norfolk. Officer Seamster
has been a police officer in the Town of Smithfield since 1995. He currently is pursuing an Associate's Degree in
the Administration of Justice through Paul D. Camp Community
College. His specialized expertise through these
experiences are in the disciplines of Leadership Principles and
Firearms Instruction. He also serves as the
HEAT and
Traffic Safety Programs Coordinator for the Smithfield
Police Department and the citizens of Smithfield.
Officer Seamster
enjoys outdoor sports such as fishing, hunting, backpacking,
camping, and sport shooting.
