Community Help In Progress (CHIP)

CHIP is a grass-roots effort to forge a partnership between the Smithfield Police Department and members of the local community. Its mission is to identify and apply problem solving solutions, using prevention services, in partnership with the citizens, to improve the security and quality of life in the community.

Homework Station needs volunteers. Meets Wednesdays at 4:00pm at the Jersey Park C.H.I.P. office. Please call Annette Crocker if you can help at 357-3247.

CHIP Wants to You!

CHIP meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month at 4:30pm at the Smithfield Police Department, 913 S. Church Street, Smithfield. Join us for a meeting and find out more about how you can become involved in this community program.
