When: September 21, 2019 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM Eastern Time Zone
Event Details:

As the nation commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War, the museum will host Smithfield resident General Aaron Lilley. He landed in Saigon with the first of two helicopter companies on Dec. 11, 1961, and returned to Vietnam in 1969 aboard the USNS Corpus Christi Bay, the first floating aviation depot. Lilley will share his war experiences of both tours in Vietnam. Veterans are encouraged to join us and share some of their Vietnam memories. The museum is a United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration Partner and will offer official lapel pins to Vietnam veterans at this event.
