As the nation commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War, the museum will host speaker Albert Burckard who will give a brief synopsis of the war and its origins as well as an overview of the Battle of FSB Ripcord where he distinguished himself as the commanding officer of Company A, 2d Battalion (Airmobile), 506^th Infantry Regiment, 101^st Airborne Division (Airmobile), during a combat assault at Fire Support Base RIPCORD, Republic of Vietnam.
