Veterans Day originated as Armistice Day on November 11, 1919. It was the first anniversary of the end of World War I. Learn the history of this national observance with our lecturer Al Coke, and learn of some of Isle of Wight County’s brave veterans. Veterans are encouraged to attend and share their stories.
