Colonial America was rich in magnificent forests that crowded its settlements. The plentiful timber was tall, straight and knot-free and therefore a favorite building material in the New World.
Learn about the processes and tools behind the construction of colonial buildings and barns with lecturer Roger Healy. This program will show off numerous tools and the joints associated with strong structures.
