Business Tax Increases Effective September 1st
Includes increases to Meal Tax and Transient Occupancy Tax
On August 2nd, 2016 the Smithfield Town Council voted to increase the Town's Meal Tax from 6% to 6.25% and the Transient Occupancy Tax from 5% to 6%.
Both tax increases will be effective as of September 1st, 2016.
