Town of Smithfield - Upcoming Holiday Festivities

Evening Christmas Farmers Market -

RESCHEULDED TO FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15TH  FROM 6 P.M. TO 9 P.M.

Saturday, December 9th – Smithfield Kiwanis Santa Breakfast at the Smithfield Center from 7:30 a.m. -9:00 a.m.  Tickets for this event are $5 per person and children 2 and under are free.  Tickets can be purchased at the Smithfield Center.

Saturday, December 9th – Genuine Smithfield Christmas Parade @ 10:30 a.m.

The following streets will be closed to the public, and there will be no on-street parking, from 7:30 a.m. until the conclusion of the parade.

Cedar Street from its intersection with South Church Street to its intersection with Underwood Lane

Underwood Lane from its intersection with Cedar Street to its intersection with Main Street

South Mason Street from its intersection with Cedar Street to its intersection with Main Street

The following streets or portions of streets will be closed from 10:00 a.m. until the conclusion of the parade.

Main Street from its intersection with Underwood Lane to its intersection with Church Street;

North Mason Street from its intersection with Main Street to its intersection with Grace Street

Grace Street from its intersection with North Mason Street to its intersection with James Street

Everyone's patience will be appreciated, as there will be very limited vehicular traffic access for property owners in the above areas, only as authorized by the Chief of Police.

ADDITIONAL NOTICE:  Street vendors are asked to refrain from selling noise makers due to the public safety factor related to the horses.  Parade sponsors will monitor and enforce this restriction during the parade.
