PUBLIC NOTICE: The Town is aware of the two bears currently calling Windsor Castle their home. We have been in discussions with the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries regarding this matter. As with all wildlife, but especially bears, please do not approach them and do not feed them. They have not been aggressive but, as with any wild animal, we cannot guarantee their behavior. This Vision Statement was developed in the context of thinking about the Town of Smithfield in its most ideal state twenty (20) years from now (2039).
