Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Governor has moved local May elections in Virginia from May 5th to May 19th. Therefore, the Smithfield Town Election will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. The 2020 Spring Community Clean Up Days have been canceled for this year due to COVID-19.
The Board of Historic & Architectural Review (BHAR) will not hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, April 21st, 2020- it has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) will not hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, April 21st, 2020- it has been canceled due to a lack of business and will not be rescheduled.
