Lorrie is a lifelong resident of Smithfield. She graduated from Smithfield High School in 1980 and continued her education at Kee Business College, Tidewater Community College, and Paul D. Camp with concentration in Accounting and Criminal Justice. After high school and completion of Kee Business College, Lorrie was employed at the Surry Nuclear Power Station for 13 years. Lorrie is a former employee with the Town of Smithfield and served previously as a Police Officer. Lorrie has returned to the Smithfield Police Department as a Records Administrator after operating a trucking business for several years. She enjoys reading, helping others, and any outdoor activity, especially beautifying her yard.
