Sergeant Johnson grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia, where he graduated from Hickory High School in 2002. He then joined the U.S. Army Reserves as a Military Police Soldier and still actively participates in military drills. Sergeant Johnson began his civilian law enforcement career with the Chesapeake Police Department before joining the Smithfield Police Department in 2012. Sergeant Johnson has an Associates Degree in Administration of Justice from TCC and is qualified as a Military Police Investigator. Sergeant Johnson has a wife and two children.
