Community Help In Progress

Community Help in Progress (CHIP) is a grassroots effort to forge a partnership between the Smithfield Police Department and members of the local community. Its mission is to identify and apply problem-solving solutions, using prevention services, in partnership with the citizens, to improve the security and quality of life in the community.

Homework Station needs volunteers. It meets Wednesdays at 4 pm at the Jersey Park C.H.I.P. office. Please call Annette Crocker if you can help, at 357-3247.

CHIP Wants to Meet You!

CHIP meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month at 4:30 pm at the Smithfield Police Department, 913 S Church Street, Smithfield. Join us for a meeting and find out more about how you can become involved in this community program.
